A $2.8
Million Dollar Project in Hurley Becomes a Reality
Tuesday, February 16th, Hurley officials and citizens joined
members of the New Mexico Department of Transportation and Engineers
Inc. in a ground breaking ceremony for a project designed to improve
Hurley's Diaz Avenue. The work will include the resurfacing of
Diaz Avenue as well as curbing, sidewalks, bicycle and walking paths.
The contract was awarded to Morrow Enterprises Inc., of Las Cruces.
Work is scheduled to begin March 1st, 2010.
